Jhené Aiko is among the numerous artists featured on Playboi Carti's new album. Born Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo, Aiko is an American R&B singer, rapper, and songwriter who started her musical career in 2002 as a backup singer and video performer.
She was signed into The Ultimate Group record label the same year she began her career and was marketed as the cousin of R&B group B2k member Lil' Fizz even though they weren't related.
Jhené left the music scene to pursue her education but returned in 2011. Her big break into mainstream music came as she recorded alongside Lil Wayne on Big Sean's 2013 single, Beware.

Playboi Carti's long-awaited 'I AM MUSIC' album was released on March 14. This marks the rapper's third studio album. The 70-minute-long album contains 30 tracks and features numerous big names from the music industry, including Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Future, Skepta, Young Thug, and Ty Dolla $ign, to mention a few.
Jhené Aiko was featured on Backdoor, lending her vocals to the track as a hidden feature. The song is the tenth track of the album, based on the themes of wealth and relationships. It also talks about living a lavish lifestyle. Jhené lends her vocals in the chorus, which reads:
"Ooh
I'ma make it back and probably spend it all on you
Come through from the back so don't nobody talk
I put them VVs on your decolleté, I know you feel nauseous
Bitches best stay in they place or move around with caution
VVs on your decolleté, mm-mm
Baby, pull up through the backdoor, backdoor, yeah
Backdoor, backdoor
Turn the lights down, I'm slidin' through the backdoor, backdoor
Members only, ridin' through the backdoor, backdoor
Vamp life, spooky, vamp life, spooky (Yeah)"
