The Police have revealed and apprehended the two suspects in the double murder case of rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and his 5-year-old daughter, R’Mani. On March 3, 2025, the 30-year-old rapper was fatally shot alongside his daughter at Slappy’s Express car wash in Forest Hill, Northern Texas.
The murder suspects were identified by Forest Hill police on March 5. The suspects, Adonis Robinson, 24, and Jakobie Russell, 21, reportedly ambushed the victims at the car wash and fired off several rounds of ammunition, leaving the father and daughter dead at the scene.
According to Fox 4, Adonis Robinson has a violent criminal history and was registered as a sex offender following his arrest and conviction for the assault of a woman walking along the trail of the Marine Creek Reservoir in 2019. Jakobie Russell, according to the New York Post, is a 21-year-old resident of Fort Worth and has been convicted in the past for assault bodily injury, assaulting a pregnant person and unlawful carrying of a weapon. He faces capital punishment alongside Robinson if he is found guilty of the crime.
David Hernandez, Forest Hill Police Chief, in a statement reaffirmed that criminals will be held accountable for their actions:
"I want to reaffirm to the community that we will hold criminals accountable. We're not going to allow them to come in here and think they can get away with it,"
Following the identification of the suspects, the Texas Rangers and Fort Worth detectives arrested Robinson in Livingston on March 6.
Russell was arrested on March 7, 2025, and taken into police custody.

According to Dallas News, Jakobie Russell turned himself in to the police with the help of his attorney. The murder suspect will be transported to the Tarrant County Jail.
Forest Hill police reported that they had recovered the White KIA vehicle used by the suspects in the shooting of G$ Lil Ronnie and the police have not revealed how they tracked down the suspects. They have not revealed if the slain rapper and the suspects had known each other before the attack.
As of the time of writing this article, the motive for the double murder has not yet been revealed. The deaths of G$ Lil Ronnie and his daughter have left family members devastated. Stella Houston, aunt, described G$ Lil Ronnie as a rapper and a family man who bothered no one:
“He was a rapper. He didn’t bother nobody. He didn’t target nobody. He was a family man, and he was going around rapping, okay. Why would you target him?"
