After being away from the music industry for years, Linkin Park is back on the fans' list as one of the favorite rock bands of all time. Linkin Park released their latest album, From Zero, in 2024, and since then, they have been nominated for multiple music awards.
The Grammy-winning band won the Rock Album of the Year for From Zero at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, which took place in March. They were also nominated at the 2025 BRIT Awards in the Best International Group category.
As for the American Music Awards, which is scheduled to take place on May 26, the band has scored two nominations in the following categories: Favorite Rock Artist and Favorite Rock Song.

Linkin Park has been previously nominated in the American Music Awards and is a six-time winner of the Favorite Alternative Artist category when Chester Bennington was the lead vocalist of the band. However, this is the first time the band has been nominated in the Favorite Rock Artist and Favorite Rock Song categories.
Their nominated song, "The Emptiness Machine," is the first single from their latest album, From Zero, which features Emily Armstrong as the lead vocalist of the band. The song instantly became a hit after its release, taking the number-one position on multiple music charts.
Mike Shinoda, the producer of the song, gave a brief on how they decided on the intro of the song by adding,
"Give the fans something familiar in the first part, like let me sing all the way to the first chorus, and then introduce this new person (Emily Armstrong). It's almost like you come to somebody's house, and the person you know like shakes your hand and welcomes you in, and then you meet new people."
Linkin Park introduced Emily Armstrong as the new lead vocalist in September 2024 during a live event. The band is scheduled to launch the From Zero deluxe album on May 16.
