After being acquitted in Georgia's longest-running criminal trial, Young Thug is set to reset himself in the music industry. The rapper made a comeback with a feature on Dum, Dumb, Dumber and is now set to release his newest album. It will be launched approximately two years after his 2023 album, Business is Business. In an interview with GQ Magazine on April 25, the rapper opened up about his new album.

Thug elaborated on his experience after prison and revealed he has primarily been working on "music." He noted,

"Working on my album. Did a little partying. But mainly just working on my album, chilling with the kids, chilling with my girl, chilling in the studio, linking up with other rappers. Just doing the normal."

He also described his creative process while working on the new record and noted that it "came easy." He added,

"I never lost it. Nothing. I never lost it. I listened to music in jail and I listened to music sometimes in court and things like that, so I never lost it. I was still up to par on what was going on for the most part.."

In related news, Kanye West expressed "love" for Young Thug for recreating the former's video of Otis in the latter's new track, Money For Money.
