There are just eight days left for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour to begin, but fans are shocked as the pop star’s highly anticipated tour is facing unexpectedly low sales.
According to a report in The Independent, over 3,200 tickets are still available for sale for the musical event’s opening night, which is set to commence on April 28, 2025, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. It added that standard tickets are available from $85 and resale tickets cost just $35.
The tickets went on sale to the general public at 12 p.m. ET on February 14, 2025. The tour will reportedly cover major cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, East Rutherford, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Las Vegas for the US leg of the tour, and London, Paris, and Houston for the UK leg, per NME.
The final two nights, which will be held in the West Coast city, reportedly have over 3,800 standard tickets available, while the East Coast is facing a similar situation, as the tour’s last night in New Jersey still has 5,500 tickets unsold.
The Atlanta show has over 5,800 tickets unsold. It is supposed to be held on July 14, 2025, and still has over 50% of floor seats available, which include the most expensive tickets with the closest view of the singer. While the majority of US dates have not sold out, UK shows have experienced higher demand. Let us understand.
What do we know about Beyoncé's UK leg of the tour?
According to a report in the Yorkshire Post, Beyonce's Cowboy Carter UK shows, especially in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, experienced extremely high demand. A research study stated that UK Beyoncé fans had only a 3.86% chance of securing tickets, with an estimated 6.2 million UK fans missing out due to limited supply.
Reportedly, the Cowboy Carter tour was launched in support of the Texas Hold ‘Em singer’s singer’s eighth studio album of the same name, which was released in March 2024. When Beyoncé’s tour first went on sale in February, the demand was huge. Fans snapped up whatever they could get their hands on; however, the prices dropped dramatically in the following days, reported The Independent.

Despite media speculation about slow sales and thousands of unsold seats for some US dates, Live Nation previously denied reports that Beyoncé was having trouble selling tickets for her forthcoming tour, as indicated in a report by NME. In a statement to Billboard, the company said that 94% of tickets for the tour have been sold.
The recent drop in prices has annoyed her fans, especially because they purchased tickets when they were sold at higher rates in comparison to the recent drop. They have been venting on social media platforms like Reddit and X (formerly Twitter). BeyHives are assuming that if it is “Jay-Z’s effect,” and others are wondering if her era is over now.
