In a now-deleted post on Instagram posted on February 19, Fifty claimed that the relationship became sour when Lil Meech's father became potentially "envious" of the former's relationship with his son, per Hot97.

50 Cent responds to Boosie Badazz's message about the former's beef with Lil Meech

Curtis James Jackson III, popularly recognized as 50 Cent, has been vocal about his beef with Lil Meech. The former has claimed to have sent Lil Meech to rehab for using drugs on his executively produced TV show, BMF. HipHopdx shared the now-deleted 50 Cent's post which said,

“I thought about it I think he (Big Meech) was uncomfortable with me and MeMe’s relationship."

He added,

“I’m telling MeMe I don’t want him doing drugs. He telling him he use to do X like it’s cool. I tell meme chill stop spending all ya money, he telling him how much money he blew. people don’t know I had to send MeMe to rehab.”

Rapper Boosie weighed on the beef in a conversation with VLAD TV. He apparently lent support to Little Meech and noted that "he got genuine love for 50." He also reportedly shared Meech's text to 50 that read,

“I can’t believe this man. U act as if I’m your enemy. I’ve only showed you love and loyalty.”

X user (@AkademiksTV) shared a now-deleted post by Fifty in which he responds to Boosie Badazz. He noted that he did more for Lil Meech ("MeMe") "more than anyone in his life."
