Jin of the popular South Korean boy band BTS made a surprise guest appearance at Coldplay's Music Of The Spheres World Tour concert on April 19, 2025. But before his appearance on stage, the oldest BTS member joined Coldplay for rehearsals.

On April 20, 2025, Coldplay shared photos of their rehearsal with Jin via their official X account @coldplay. The pictures showed Jin and Coldplay’s Chris Martin rehearsing while getting drenched in the rain.

For his rehearsal with Coldplay, Kim Seok-jin wore a brown monogram relaxed-fit Gucci suede jacket over a white inner shirt and brown high-waisted cotton wide-leg Gucci cargo pants. He wore a pair of white Gucci screener trainer sneakers with the outfit. For accessories, the Super Tuna crooner wore a Fred Force 10 bracelet, 18k in white gold diamonds, and a Fred Force 10 small model in 18k white gold and diamonds.

Jin of BTS once again teamed up with the British boy band Coldplay for their Music of the Spheres World Tour concert. This unexpected reunion came almost three years after Jin joined the band for its Buenos Aires concert in 2022, where he performed The Astronaut for the first time.

Jin joined Coldplay on the stage of their day three concert at Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang, South Korea. He appeared during the “Songbook” segment holding a sign that read:

“My bro. Can I sing ‘The Astronaut’ with you? Pick me plz.”

Chris Martin invited Jin to the stage, and the audience screamed. The two artists showed love to each other, hugging and kneeling to each other. Before they started their performance, Mr. Worldwide Handsome gave a heartfelt message to his fans. He said:

“Before I went to the military, my last stage was Coldplay’s. Now, my first concert after my discharge is also Coldplay's.”
“It's all because of you that we have this relationship with BTS. We missed you, man; you've been in the military, but you still look so handsome. Look at this beautiful man,” Chris Martin added as they sat in front of his piano.

Jin and Coldplay gave a thrilling performance that satisfied many fans. They performed The Astronaut, Jin’s debut solo song, for which Coldplay contributed to the lyrics. They also performed My Universe, a song by Coldplay and BTS.

Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour began on the 18th of March, 2022, in San José, Costa Rica, and is scheduled to conclude at the Wembley Stadium in London on September 8, 2025.

The South Korean leg of the tour began on April 16 and will continue on April 18, 19, 22, and 24 before concluding on April 25, 2025.
