Kash Doll and Asian Doll's beef is regarding the fact that who popularized the moniker 'doll' among female rappers. The former first started talking about her issue with other rappers calling themselves 'dolls' in an interview with Club Shay Shay on
"so with my beef, it it was just I'm okay let me get here so I can.. My beef—it really wasn’t no beef. I just wanted a few girls to change their name. Then, when there was a lot of backlash from it, I felt like I needed to make a song because that's how we make money and-"
The singer continued:
"and this what we all do so why not let's, and get in the field that's how we get in and the field if that's how we going to get in the field, right make a better, song then you know so I just wanted everybody to change their name that was my name."
Subsequent to this interview, Kash Doll performed at The Studio at The Factory in Dallas, Texas on February 22, 2025. During the performance, the singer called out Asian Doll, saying "F*ck You" and encouraging the crowd to do the same, followed by another post from her:
Asian Doll responded with a threatening message:
"This what happens when this YN let you keep your life b***h! We let a 40yr old b***h keep her life! My n***as was finna shoot your sprinter up and I let you live cause you got kids and you had them on the road with you! You knew not to say s**t yesterday while you was in Dallas so today you talking s**t cause you so happy you ain’t die b***h."
This message was later changed to comply with X regulations regarding violence and threats of violence, with the new message reading:

In response to this, Kash Doll remained unfazed, stating in a now-deleted tweet:
“Not you that mad at me guns involved lol. Just get in the booothhhhhhh that’s all I asked, pregnant YN."
Asian Doll repeated her threat in another deleted tweet:
"H**** wait till they did they Dallas to say all this on my life this b****h would've been Swiss cheese if she said any of this yesterday or day before literally let this old b****h live yesterday & now she wanna talk sh*t cause she ain't die in my city. That was me thinking like a pregnant woman b***h lucky cause the REAL me would’ve let my folks kill you b***h"

Kash Doll, born Arkeisha Antoinette Knight on March 14, 1989, began her career with local live performances and then with covers of songs, which got her a spot on Drake's Summer Sixteen tour show in Detroit.
The singer then released her debut mixtape, Brat Mail, on March 14, 2018. Subsequently, she released her debut EP, The Vault, on July 16, 2018, after signing up with Republic Records.
She released her debut album, Stacked, on October 18, 2019. The album was a moderate hit upon release. She then collaborated with DJ Drama in 2023 on the album Back on Dexter, before releasing her second album, The Last Doll, on November 15, 2024.
