Wet Leg is a British Indie rock band founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers in 2019 and consists of six members: Rhian Teasdale—lead vocals and rhythm guitar; Hester Chambers—lead guitar backing and occasional lead vocals; Henry Holmes—drums and percussion; Josh Mobaraki—rhythm guitar, synthesizer, backing vocals; and Ellis Durand—bass, backing vocals.

The group released its first single, Chaise Longue, in 2021 and its first album in 2022. The eponymous album debuted at number one on the UK album chart and won the group a Grammy at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony for Best Alternative Music Album. Their single was also nominated for Best Alternative Music Performance at the awards. At the 2023 BRIT Awards, Wet Leg won Best New Artist and Best British Group.

Recently, the group performed two shows in Brighton and London on March 23 and 24, breaking in some unreleased songs to the excitement of the fans in attendance.

More details on Wet Leg's secret set performances

Wet Leg performed at the Green Door Store and the Moth Club even though the shows were initially announced under the pseudonym Uma Thurman - with the proviso that the actual actor 'will not be in attendance.'

It was later teased that Wet Leg would attend, leading to the tickets selling out upon release. The group performed an 11-song set, mixing some of its unreleased tracks with titles including Lovestruck, Dragonfart, and Beans.

This live debut of their new songs went down after the band took to its official Instagram account to share a 30-second video snippet of the upcoming project. The group donned black suits and ties for the performance, paying homage to the style of Thurman's character in Pulp Fiction, Mia Wallace.
