The release date for Joe Jonas’s upcoming solo album is officially out!

The Jonas Brothers' member shared the news with his fans and followers through a social media post on March 26, 2025. Taking to his X account, he posted a clip sharing the vinyl edition of the album, which was originally scheduled for release on October 18, 2024.

“Thank you for your patience. Music For People Who Believe In Love. May 23rd!”

Last year, the 34-year-old singer explained what the album was about in a press release, according to a report in People Magazine. He said,

“This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope, and love. These songs reflect on my life from a bird’s-eye view acknowledging the many blessings around me. It’s okay to cry and mourn a loss – it’s part of the process to take care of ourselves and eventually enables us to be there for the people we care about."

Joe released his last solo album, Fast Life, in 2011.

Reactions on social media have been mostly positive, with fans expressing their excitement for the most anticipated release. A fan took to X to share their views.

“So so excited and so proud of you!!!!! Counting down the days,” a fan wrote.

However, a few users did not appreciate the title of his LP. Others expressed their doubts about its potential success. Few users called it “corny” or “overly sentimental,” suggesting it might not resonate with a broader audience.

“His album is not for me then,” a user commented.
“Lmao, "Music For People Who Believe In Love"? Sounds corny af.” Another user joked.
“Nobody asked for this,” someone else added.
“Love albums rarely sell; will this one be an exception or a cliché?” One user doubted.

While speaking to People magazine in 2024, Joe Jonas shared that the album would speak to his,

"experiences of being a father, being a friend to oneself and others, and the happiness I've found in doing what I love for a living."

Recently, the Jonas Brothers hosted JONASCON at American Dream in New Jersey on March 23, 2025, to celebrate their band's 20th anniversary.
