Adam Levine has recently spoken about his growing friendship with Kelsea Ballerini, his co-star on The Voice Season 27.
The Maroon 5 singer, who made a comeback to the show this year after a hiatus of nearly six years, is currently hosting alongside John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, and Michael Bublé. Speaking about his bond with Ballerini, he described his friendship as “instant”, comparing it to his relationship with longtime frenemy Blake Shelton.
"We got along famously instantly — like a nice, friendly, sweet version of when I met Blake.” He said.
For instance, the 46-year-old shared that when they were recording a performance with fellow coaches, Ballerini playfully teased Levine about his reserved nature while singing.
"...she'd be like, 'Hey, you going to pretend you like us?’ And I thought that was so f---ing funny and on point and great — and just instant friendship, because I always love someone who's not afraid to give me a little bit of s--.” He said.

Adam Levine and Kelsea Ballerini's bond on The Voice is often described as sibling-like due to their playful and teasing interactions.
According to a report on NBC News, during one of the episodes, when she was texting her boyfriend, the singer noticed it and took a chance to poke fun at her. He said in a funny, high-pitched voice,
“You're texting your boyfriend, oo-ooh.”
“Guys, really?”
She said, which prompted John Legend to say,
“She said, 'Mind your business!'" These three!”
Kelsea Ballerini is reportedly dating Outer Banks star Chase Stokes following her divorce from her ex-husband Morgan Evans in 2022, according to a report in Fox News. She talked about her relationship in an interview with People magazine, saying:
“I look at love really practically now, and somehow it’s my favorite version of it. I didn’t really have an example of what a solid relationship looked like in my developmental years. I learned the hard way.”
“Now my version of love that I’ve found, it’s steady and it’s human, and we work on it. That, to me, honestly, is the s*xiest thing, like, ‘Hey, you want to go to therapy?
