Fans were quick to gather in the comment section as they shared excitement over '96ers. ' Below are some of the things they had to share:

"Two captains serving talent, visual, and vibes!! thank you, hxw!!!", declared a fan.
"The way he said "Don't stop me even if I'm overdoing it, Jihoonie" took me out", expressed another.
"THEIR STYLIST NEEDS A RAISE BECAUSE THIS IS SOME FIRE OUTFITS, THE MANIFESTED PINK CLOTHES.", opined a third.
"This is a song that pays homage to the journey of SVT, them rising to their current heights from petite boys from middle school. They managed to include all 13 of the team that helped the 96 leaders to grow to their current position. This is for themselves, the SVT fam, carats and a proclamation of their own achievements.", shared a fourth.

Others also chimed in:

"Y'all you know what I've just realized: the "apple" basically represents the famous "Macbook" so when Jihoon eats it, he's basically saying that he "eats up" the melodies, it's deep within him...CREATIVE AF", noted another.
"The irony that this is a hip-hop based song but neither of them are from HHU. So crazy how every member are all rounders. SEVENTEEN is THE STANDARD!!!", penned a third.

SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and Woozi’s collaboration explored

Hoshi and Woozi’s bond reportedly dates back to their early training years. They previously collaborated on Bring It, a B-side track from SEVENTEEN’s 2017 album Teen, Age. However, this is their first official release of music as a sub-unit.

In a statement shared with People, Hoshi mentioned,

"Once Woozi commits to something, he gives it his all. His persistence, his sharp judgment and ability to make clear, level-headed decisions is something I truly admire. Whether in music or everyday life, I’m constantly learning from him."

On the other hand, Woozi stated to People,

"As a matter of fact, I always rely on Hoshi a lot. We have different strengths, but we complement each other in a way that feels effortless. That balance enhances our dynamic and keeps our creativity flowing when we make music together"

The 3 tracks of 'BEAM' are 96ers, Pinocchio, and Stupid Idiot. These can be streamed across multiple audio platforms.

2025 marks SEVENTEEN’s 10th anniversary. The Hoshi and Woozi's unit debut might be a way of celebrating the same.
