Turin Brakes announces Spacehopper album and tour: Dates, venues, special guest, and other details explored

Turin Brakes have announced their 10th studio album, Spacehopper, which will be released on May 23, 2025. The band also announced a UK and Ireland tour, which will be held from November 7, 2025, to November 30, 2025, in venues across cities such as Dublin and Glasgow, among others. The band announced the album and tour in a post on their Instagram page on March 14, 2025, stating:

"Twenty-five years ago, we recorded our debut album at Konk Studios in north London. Our journey since then has been long and deep, taking us across the globe multiple times."

The statement continues:

"Curious about what it would be like to return to Konk, now with all that accumulated experience, we decided to revisit that iconic wooden room once again and embark on a new musical adventure. This time, with producer Guy Massey at the helm, we’re calling our 10th album SPACEHOPPER. We eagerly invite you to be part of this exciting new chapter... and our UK & Ireland Tour."

As mentioned in the announcement post above, to get presale early access, interested patrons will need to pre-order the album from the band's official store. The link to the store is available on their Instagram bio.

At the store, the album is priced between, £10 and £56, depending upon the edition or bundle of the album. A general onsale will follow on March 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Tickets will be available via the band's official website or vendors such as Ticketmaster.

Turin Brakes released their previous album, Wide-Eyed Nowhere, in 2022. The band is best known for their second studio album, Ether Song, which was released in 2003.

The album was followed by several more successful albums, including JackInABox in 2005, which remains their second most successful album, followed by Dark on Fire in 2007, Outbursts in 2010 and We Were Here in 2013, among others.

Turin Brakes is comprised of the duo of Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian as well as Eddie Myer and Rob Allum. The band was formed in London, UK in 1999 and first sang up to Astralwerks record label, before switching over to Cooking Vinyl label.
