"Truly album of the year”— Fans react as all songs from Sabrina Carpenter’s 'Short n' Sweet' deluxe edition make their way to the Hot 100 charts

From a Disney alum to a global pop star, Sabrina Carpenter has experienced a trailblazing career. While the singer released her first album, Eyes Wide Open, in 2015, she has received significant praise and accreditation for her sixth and most recent album, Short n' Sweet.

Per Billboard, she became the first woman to chart three songs, including "Espresso," "Taste," and "Please, Please, Please" in the Billboard Top 10 chart for five consecutive weeks. Owing to its massive success and appeal, Carpenter released a deluxe edition on February 14, 2025. As per Chart Data, all "16 songs" from her deluxe album have now charted on the Billboard "Hot 100."

Chart Data made the announcement on their X channel, with many fans sharing their excitement in the comment section. One fan (@Moonlightsift9) cheered on,

Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n' Sweet deluxe edition songs are chart-toppers

Short n' Sweet has appeared to be a breakthrough in Sabrina Carpenter's career, securing her spot as one of the decade's most popular artists. The album throttled Sabrina's music career, and her songs soon became chart-topping hits. In addition to the pre-existing songs in the Short n' Sweet album.

The deluxe album includes the country rendition of "Please, Please, Please" featuring Dolly Parton. The song became an instant hit and became Sabrina's first track to debut on Billboard's Hot Country Songs Chart, per Billboard. The album also includes new singles, "Couldn't Make It Any Harder," "15 Minutes," and "Busy Woman, Bad Reviews."

In an exclusive interview with Vogue, Sabrina Carpenter talked about her album and noted that it is an extended version of herself. She told Vogue,

"Short n’ Sweet is absolutely me.”

She added,

“There’s no, like, alter ego. But it’s definitely a more emphasized version of me.”

Sabrina Carpenter mentioned that the album allowed her to be herself and noted,

"It’s interesting because I’m able to dress in this way where you would kind of expect to hear like a voice from the ’60s. But then, when I’m speaking to the audience, I’m just myself.”

She also revealed her inspiration for the album and said,

“I remember feeling inspired by images of women that felt very strong and hyperfeminine. And then being like: If only she said what she was actually thinking.”

Short n' Sweet is a personal and professional milestone for Sabrina Carpenter. The songs have not only entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart but have also helped her secure two Grammy Awards. The singer was awarded the Best Pop Vocal Album for Short N' Sweet and Best Pop Solo Performance for her single, "Espresso."
