"This is beyond a five-alarm fire": Indie rock icon Bob Mould talks about America's future

Indie rock icon Bob Mould has built a career on being outspoken about views on social and political issues. From his work in the highly regarded Hüsker Dü to his solo career, music has been the vehicle through which Mould weighs in on cultural shifts and conflicts.

Last year, during an interview with Rolling Stone, after being asked about his feelings on the state of the country, Mould spoke with great concern regarding the future of America, calling it the end of an era with no direction to move forward.
