BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Rosalia’s hit track New Woman has amassed 300 million streams on the streaming platform Spotify. New Woman is Lisa’s fifth and Rosalia’s twelfth song to achieve this feat.

Lisa teamed up with the Grammy-winning Spanish singer Rosalia to release the pop/electronic track in August 2024. New Woman peaked at number 15 on the Global 200 chart and reached the top ten charts in Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore.

The pop track is the second single from Lisa’s debut album, Alter Ego, and mixes synth, bass and drum with vocals for a catchy melody. In the track, Lisa switches between rapping and singing, showcasing her versatility.

Rosalia’s verse brings in a new tempo as she reflects on her career and her rise to success in the lyrics. Lisa’s verse talks about finding her freedom after going through hardship. The outro reads:
