Fans react to Green Day's 'Smash It Like Belushi'

Fans worldwide were notably quick to weigh in on the comment section of the YouTube video as they voiced their thoughts over Green Day's newly released track from Savior Deluxe. Below are some of the remarks:

"The world is healing, Green Day dropping b-sides once again", declared a fan.
"I discovered you guys when American Idiot came out, I was 8-9 years old. That album is still one of my favourites of all time and holds a special place in my heart among all your albums. I didn't expect to fall in love with another Green Day album the same same way I did with American Idiot, but then Saviors came out... My wife and I flew from Madrid to Hamburg to see you guys live for the first time, as we couldn't see the gig here in Madrid. The Saviors tour was something special for me, just like when I first discovered you as a kid. Thank you guys for all these years of amazing music!", shared another.
"This song is amazing!! sounds pure Punk Rock, Remember me Automatic Lover by the vibrators... Thanks Green Day, cheers From Mexico and i love you", lauded a third.
"Seeing all the love for this song proves to me that people don't hate FOAF because it's bad; they either hate the mixing or hate the album because it's cool to hate it. This is a song that fits perfectly next to "Father of All...", "Stab You in the Heart", "Sugar Youth", and "Take the Money and Crawl".", noted a fourth.
"even after all these years green day still gives us such good music…this is why i love them", penned a fifth.
