Billboard has revived a longtime debate by naming Nicki Minaj as the greatest female rapper of all time, according to Staff Picks. The music magazine released a list of the 25 best female rappers of all time on April 7, 2025, and had the "Super Bass" hitmaker at its peak.
News of Billboard’s choice for best female rapper has been making the rounds on X, and while it has sparked a debate on who deserves the crown, Minaj’s fans have swarmed the comments to praise the rapper for her achievement.

Other fans, popularly called Barbz, showed solidarity for the rap icon:
