Kendrick Lamar and SZA have kicked off their joint tour, dubbed The Grand National Tour, and fans are excited, to say the least. The duo announced their collaborative tour on February 10, 2025, a day after they rocked the Super Bowl stage together.
SZA, in an episode of the Jimmy Kimmel Live show, described the Grand National Tour as something different from their Super Bowl performance:
Oh, we’re doing a new thing,” she said. “We’re both just kind of throwing all the paint at the wall… This is our first stadium show for both of us, so we pretty much have to go insane.”
SZA also hinted that whilst it was a joint tour project, she and Lamar would have separate performances for their fans.
@PopBase on X announced on X that the duo had kicked off the Grand National Tour, and @SirTopiano tweeted in response:

More details on the Grand National Tour as SZA and Kendrick Lamar kick off their first show in Minneapolis
The artists had their first trek in Minneapolis on April 19, 2025, where they delivered a comprehensive setlist for eager fans, alternating between solo performances before converging on the 30 for 30 track. Kendrick Lamar, on his part, sang Reincarnated, Euphoria, Squabble Up and the critically acclaimed Not Like Us track.
SZA took the stage and gave a melodious performance of some of her hit tracks, including Saturn, All The Stars, Kill Bill, Rich Baby Daddy, and Kiss Me More. The artists maintained distinct imagery and props, with Kendrick Lamar opting for a grey and muted background for most of his set except for when he sat behind the wheel of a GNX at the beginning.
SZA’s visuals were green and lively, and her stage dancers were dressed as praying mantises and ants. The artists concluded their performances for the day with their hit song Luther, which currently sits atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The Grand National tour will run from April to August 2025. The artist’s last stop will be the 3Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
