“Summer hit incoming”: Fans react as EXO’s KAI releases MV teaser for his upcoming track ‘Adult Swim’

EXO's KAI recently completed his mandatory military service and has wasted no time embarking on new projects. The K-pop idol announced that his latest mini album, "Wait On Me," will be released on April 21, 2025.

Since his announcement, Kai has teased his fans with pictures and video snippets of the album. According to reports, the mini album will include seven songs, featuring the titular track, "Wait On Me," along with "Adult Swim" and "Walls Don't Talk." The music videos for "Adult Swim" and "Walls Don't Talk" will be released on April 3 and 15, respectively, leading up to the album's release and the debut of the titular video on April 21.

On April 1, Kai thrilled fans with a teaser of the upcoming pre-release Adult Swim. The video garnered several reactions from fans.

The 31-year-old K-pop idol shared a teaser photo from his upcoming mini album, showcasing two versions of Kai: one with blonde hair and the other with black hair. On his social media accounts, Kai also revealed a teaser for his upcoming project. The video teaser depicted the idol experiencing a system error on his computer.

"Wait On Me" is Kai's fourth mini album and his first solo comeback since the release of his third mini album, "Rover," back in March 2023. In addition to the upcoming album, fans are also eagerly anticipating his first solo concert tour, KAION. The tour is scheduled to begin on May 17 and 18 at the Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea. Following the performances, Kai will also visit the cities of Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, Yokohama, and Hong Kong.
