Singer Sting made his first public appearance with his wife Trudie Styler after he had previously cancelled his STING 3.0 shows. The couple made their appearance at the Wayuu Taya Foundation's Spring Gala on Tuesday, March 11. The former bassist of the rock band Police had cancelled his appearance at the Bass Magazine Awards scheduled on January 23, 2025.
Additionally, the musician took to his social media to reveal he will have to postpone parts of his 3.0 shows. He explained he experienced a "temporary throat infection" which prevented him "from singing". He added in another post that this was done in "advisement of his doctor."
As a consequence, his shows in Phoenix and Wheatland have been postponed to June 1 and May 28 respectively. He will now perform for the Cherrytree Music Company's 20th anniversary on May 29.

Sting made his first public appearance with his wife at the Wayuu Taya Foundation's Spring Gala, which aims "to improve the living quality of the Indigenous community in Latin America." Due to his "temporary" health condition, he was forced to postpone his shows as part of his tour and other appearances. The singer took to his Instagram to give an update about his health,
"Thanks so much for all of the well wishes. I am steadily improving from a temporary throat infection which has prevented me from singing, though I’m looking forward to resuming my performances and rescheduled shows soon. Love, Sting."
The Desert Rose singer appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon with Shaggy on March 12, 2025. The duo performed their newest single, Til A Mawnin and were joined by a live band performance. Sting and Shaggy previously released their collaborative album, 44/876 in 2018. They also sang the lyrics of their songs during Jimmy's monologue.
As per the official website, the musician has decided to add a third Red Rocks Performance Amphitheatre concert on May 22. The seven-time Grammy Award winner will be joined in his performances by guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas. The general sales of the newly added date are scheduled to begin on March 14 at 10 AM. Fans can purchase tickets for all other shows on the official website.
Despite health difficulties, Sting is ready to bounce back and has expressed gratitude towards fans for their patience. The singer was joined by Shaggy for a lively performance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Apart from the postponed dates, he is likely to perform at the scheduled dates. He is expected to perform at the Pretoria, in South Africa on March 22.
