Zach Bryan was the headliner for Day 1 and he gave a two-hour performance with about 30 songs. His set was full of energy, and the crowd sang along to almost every word. Zach also joked about wearing the same shirt from his 2022 performance, which made fans laugh.

Lana Del Rey made her Stagecoach debut and she mixed her usual style with country themes. Lana wore a white gown and sang country classics like Stand By Your Man and Take Me Home, Country Roads. She also performed a duet with George Birge, making her set one of the most talked-about.

Mumford & Sons surprised everyone with a pop-up set at the Palomino tent. They played their biggest hits, which made the crowd excited. Their performance added more energy before Lana Del Rey’s set at the same stage.

What problems occurred during Stagecoach Day 1?

The biggest problem was overcrowding at the Palomino tent. When Mumford & Sons and Lana Del Rey performed, the tent was packed. Many fans could not get inside or had to stand too tightly together. This made it hard to enjoy the shows.

Some fans and critics noticed unfair scheduling for female artists. Talented performers like Avery Anna and Sierra Ferrell had earlier time slots or were placed on smaller stages. Many thought they deserved better positions to match their talent.

Food at the festival also had issues. One small problem that gained attention was the pulled-pork sandwiches. They were served dry without any sauce, disappointing fans who expected better food at a festival known for its BBQ.

Paris Hilton gave a DJ set at Diplo’s HonkyTonk. She wore bedazzled headphones and played a fun mix of songs. Lizzo also showed up during her set, surprising the crowd and adding excitement to the late-night fun.

T-Pain performed in the Palomino tent later in the evening. He brought out Kesha to perform their new single, Yippee-Ki-Yay. While the idea of the collaboration was exciting, the song got mixed reviews from fans and critics.

Emerging artists like Tigirlily Gold, Tucker Wetmore, and Alana Springsteen also got attention. Even though some had early slots, their performances were strong. Fans who arrived early were able to enjoy these rising stars before the bigger headliners took the stage.

Stagecoach Day 1 gave fans a mix of great music, unexpected surprises, and a few disappointing moments. Big performances from Zach Bryan, Lana Del Rey, and Mumford & Sons kept the excitement high. But issues like overcrowding, unfair scheduling, and some food problems showed that there is still work to be done.

The festival’s first day proved that Stagecoach is still one of the biggest music events of the year. It also showed that fans expect not just great music, but good planning and fair treatment of all artists. As the weekend continues, everyone will be watching to see how the festival adjusts.
