Playboi Carti answered a fan's question on the rap artist's I AM MUSIC album's projected release.

The fan acknowledged his approach with the response, "Bro, we get it u trim just drop the album already." Carti's unexpected response to the fan was "FASHO."

Spotify posted a very inconspicuous post with just three sand clocks and followed it by tagging Playboi Carti. Carti hinted that the album would be published before the end of 2024 and then gave a glimpse at Rolling Loud. Nevertheless, it never materialized. According to the rap artist's reaction to the fans, the much-awaited album will be out in 2025.

The suspense surrounding Playboi Carti's album

To build excitement for his much-anticipated album, Playboi Carti's "I Am Music" marketing has been a masterwork in mystery, combining cryptic messages with well-timed releases.

When Carti shared an Instagram story on December 7, 2023, she declared, "I am music." In response, Pharrell Williams said only one word: "Prepare." That quick conversation sparked rumors of a project in the works. Carti released "Different Day," and a full-length music video on the Opium Instagram account the next day.

The track's exclusivity was increased by the fact that, in contrast to conventional releases, it never appeared on streaming services.

He dropped several singles over the following few months, including "2024" on December 14, "H00dByAir" on December 19, "Backr00ms" with Travis Scott on January 1, 2024, "EvilJ0rdan" on January 15, and "Ketamine" on March 12.

The music videos for each track, which were mostly only available on YouTube and Instagram, added to the album's enigmatic appeal.

Carti teased audiences with new content throughout live performances in 2024. During the June Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash concert, he gave a sneak peek at songs including "All Red" and "F*ck on My DJ."

The year concluded without an album release, despite constant indications from collaborators, which fueled rumors that the delays were deliberate.

Early in 2025, the advertising effort intensified. Alongside the Spotify logo, billboards in Miami and Los Angeles included phrases like "MUSIC IS COMING" and "I AM MUSIC MF" in Carti's trademark typeface.

Discussions on the long-awaited release of the album were rekindled by the mysterious advertisements.

The most current billboard read, "Overly Trim." Playboi Carti appeared to be hinting at a new song on his Instagram story, which fueled the flames. He seems to be really enthused about the tune after previewing it. He could have the ideal opportunity to give us new tunes when he performed at Rolling Loud the next month.

That being said, there is no release date despite all of these billboards. Even if these sayings are song titles or anything else remain still unknown. His activities continue to irritate people, particularly considering that the record was officially scheduled to be released last year.
