Tyla and Sean Paul have set the internet ablaze with the release of their latest music video for their collaborative remix, Push 2 Start.
According to a report in Billboard, the remix featuring the two pop artists was originally released on February 14, 2025.
The singers took to their respective social media accounts to announce a joint post on March 4, 2025. Sharing a snippet from their remix on Instagram, they wrote:
“REMIX VIDEO OUT NOW @duttypaul. DIRECTED BY ME & @taylor.fauntleroy.”

According to the post, Tyla co-created the song with Taylor Fauntleroy, a writer, director, and creative director, as stated on his official website.
Fans on the internet love the combination of South African and Jamaican styles and have praised the collaboration. They believe that Tyla reminds them of the 2000s pop diva.

A majority of fans appreciated the new Push To Start (Remix) music video while others were of a different opinion.

However, some users disliked the video and compared the song to Beyonce’s Rude Boy.

Speaking on teaming up with Paul, Tyla earlier shared in an interview with Billboard,
“Everyone loves Sean Paul, there’s so many songs of his that I absolutely loved growing up. All those songs are so nostalgic and special and vibey.”
She spoke about how she wanted to incorporate those vibes in her latest track and said,
“I really wanted that feeling on the song. And he’s been speaking to me about wanting to do something, so I felt like this would be the perfect thing.”
Praising Tyla’s work as an artist, Paul told Billboard,
“I really like her vibes as an artist. She does amapiano and mix her vibes with dancehall so it’s right in my pocket. Love it.”
According to another report in Billboard, Tyla originally released Push 2 Start in October as part of the deluxe edition of her self-titled album. Following her hit track, Water, her song topped the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 92.
