In the latest development of events, Soulja Boy has reportedly denied r*ping the woman who has claimed that she was beaten and abused by him.

According to a report in Rolling Stones, the rapper, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, testified in a civil court on April 1, 2025, in California, where he told the jury that he “never” assaulted her.

The report further stated that Way admitted to having a s*xual encounter with the woman when the police reached his house with a search warrant. But he added that she consented and “didn’t push me or say stop, nothing like that.”

The Defense lawyer, Rickey Ivie, asked the rapper,

“Did you ever hit the plaintiff in the mouth, bust her lip, and force her to give you or*l s*x?”

He denied the allegations and said,

“Of course not, and that’s a disgusting allegation. It sounds crazy to me. I did not do that.”

Way also said that she wasn’t his personal assistant; instead, he met her through a mutual friend and offered her a room to stay in exchange for her services. What were the claims made by the woman who was allegedly assaulted by the rapper?

What was the testimony given by the woman who was reportedly r*ped by Soulja Boy?

Earlier, on March 26, 2025, the alleged victim in the case, who has been identified as Jane Doe, claimed that Soulja Boy r*ped her and held her against her will, as she described the alleged abuse during a trial in Santa Monica, California, a report in Rolling Stones stated.

The woman said that she and Soulja Boy began dating in 2019 after she worked as his assistant. She claimed that they started a romantic relationship, during which he allegedly became abusive and commanding, reported XXL magazine.

She further added that the Grammy-nominated rapper isolated her at his rental home in Malibu, California, took her driver’s license, and withheld her from food. The report noted that he regularly abused her, which caused her to lose weight. She somehow managed to survive with the help of the property’s gardeners.

“I didn’t even feel human anymore. I felt like an animal,” she said.

The woman claimed that he allegedly r*ped her when police raided his home in mid-February 2019. She was terrified to report it to the police as the rapper reportedly threatened her. She said,

“I feared for my life. I was scared of what he would do to my family. I didn’t want him to hurt anybody because of me.”

She said that he threatened her to “send shooters” into the house.

A report in XXL magazine stated that she was r*ped on multiple occasions, which also involves a 2020 incident when she finally decided to leave him.

Soulja Boy’s legal team has denied the claims made by the woman in the ongoing civil trial of the lawsuit filed in 2021.

"The plaintiff’s claim is not supported by reliable evidence. The claims are driven by the ulterior motives of jealousy, revenge, and financial gain," Soulja Boy's attorney Rickey Ivie said in a statement.

According to a report in Rolling Stones, in her lawsuit filed in 2021, Jane Doe alleged that he subjected her to sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, emotional distress, unpaid overtime, and a hostile work environment.
