Nick Jonas, the third brother from the Jonas Brothers boy band, started his singing and acting career as early as seven years old on Broadway. Over the years, Nick Jonas has been growing as a musician, artist, actor, and songwriter. While Nick is not actively producing any solo music or recording songs with his brothers, he is currently focused on his filmography, particularly theater.
Nick Jonas has been working on the musical The Last Five Years, which was written by Jason Robert Brown. The show first premiered in 2001 and has been produced in different parts of the world over the years. In 2025, the production will be at the Broadway theater, and Nick Jonas is playing the role of Jamie Wellerstein.
Because of the show, Nick Jonas and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, along with their 2-year-old daughter, Malti Marie, are living in New York City for the moment. Nick shares how special it is for him and his family to stay put in the same city for a while. In an interview with PEOPLE, he said,
"She loves being in New York and I think this time for us as a family has been wonderful... We're so used to being in 10 different cities in 10 different days. And so to be in one place and have this time together has been really nice." - Nick explained.
He also shared that his daughter enjoys playing certain Disney characters with him, and these moments mean a lot to the 32-year-old actor and singer. He expressed
"She wants to play Moana and Maui with me, and that means more to me than anything else, is that time with her. And just the fact that I'm just Dad when I'm home, it means a lot" - Nick Jonas shared.

The Broadway show for The Last Five Years started on March 18 and will continue till June 22, 2025. During this span of time, Malti Marie has seen her dad in action and visits him while he is at the theater.
He also briefly mentioned how he and his wife, Priyanka Chopra, make time for family time. Nick said,
"We've been exploring a bit and keeping her active and busy... We're both obviously busy parents, but we've been finding time to spend time as a family and connect amidst our crazy schedules and it's been lovely." - he expressed.
When PEOPLE asked him what he loved about being a father, Jonas responded,
"The best part about being a dad for me and balancing things like this work stuff — and this is hardly work — is that you could feel like your coolest self on top of the world, and she just doesn't care at all" - Jonas said.
