"She's so pretty I wanna cry": Fans swoon over BLACKPINK's Jennie as she poses for new ‘Like JENNIE’ teaser photo

Since her debut solo album, Ruby, is just a week away, Jennie is giving her fans a preview with a sampling video that will be shared on her social media starting Thursday, February 27.

The teaser, which features the BLACKPINK band member in a variety of visual themes ranging from rosy-soft flowery to forceful queenlike edginess, offers short, out-of-order excerpts of several songs on the 15-track LP.

Together with the unreleased tracks "Filter," "ZEN," "Starlight," "F.T.S.," and "Like JENNIE," this also features the previously released hit "Love Hangover," which featured Dominic Fike.

Jennie recently released a picture for "Like Jennie" on her social media, sending fans into a frenzy.

In addition to displaying a dance move from one of the songs and highlighting her current concentration on acting and music, BLACKPINK member Jennie teased her fans with some spoilers about her next ventures as her first solo studio album, Ruby, draws closer.

She also selected dancing, music, and stage performances as her favorite aspects of being a K-pop idol. In a March 2 broadcast of The Jennifer Hudson Show, she discussed Ruby, her artistic career, and her acting plans.

During BLACKPINK's hiatus from group activities, all of JENNIE's bandmates have been focusing on individual projects.

ROSÉ released the album Rosie in December, JISOO released the EP AMORTAGE earlier this month, and LISA is scheduled to release the LP Alter Ego on Friday, February 28. In July, the group will set out on a recently revealed tour.

Furthermore, Jennie from BLACKPINK has once again created history! Her most recent solo song, ExtraL, was her highest solo entry to date when it debuted at No. 75 on the Billboard Hot 100 list for the week of March 8.

Her prior records, Love Hangover (which peaked at No. 96) and Mantra (which peaked at No. 98), are surpassed by this remarkable accomplishment.

Jennie's career as a solo artist has been steadily improving. Although One of the Girls, one of her previous singles, reached at No. 51, ExtraL is now her greatest solo debut on the esteemed list.

The song, which features Grammy-winning rapper Doechii, combines Jennie's trademark confidence with strong rhythms. The song has gone viral since its release on February 21 at 2 p.m. KST, accompanied by an aesthetically spectacular music video.
