Columbian singer-songwriter Shakira began the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour on February 11, 2025. It is her seventh concert tour, which promotes her studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which came out about a year ago in March 2024.
The tour started in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and will conclude in Lima, Peru. Shakira gained remarkable success while performing in Mexico, setting a record of nearly seven sold-out performances.
On March 27, the tour's promoter, OCESA, announced that, due to popular demand, four additional shows would be added in August and September, thus expanding the original 11-date concert schedule.
Shakira announces four new tour dates in Mexico
The Hips Don't Lie star saw massive success while performing in Mexico and therefore, has added four more dates. Out of them, one of the shows will reportedly take place on August 29 at GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City.
The other three tour dates in Mexico are expected to be September 2 at Estadio Corregidora, September 6 at Estadio Akron in Guadalajara, and finally, September 12 at Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla. By then, Shakira will have performed at the GNP Seguros Stadium for a record-breaking number of eight times.
The 48-year-old superstar announced that she would be doing the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour in April 2024 when she appeared as a special guest in Bizarrap's set at Coachella. It will be Shakira's first tour in seven years since 2018's El Dorado World Tour.
On March 25, Shakira performed her fourth of seven concerts at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City. According to the tour promoters, nearly 455,000 fans are expected to attend these concerts.
During her show in Rio de Janeiro on February 11 that kick-started the tour, Shakira included Mama África by Chico César in her setlist. As far as her performances in Mexico are concerned, she delighted her fans with special performances that included her personal hits such as Ciega, Sordomuda, and El Jefe.
At the concert in Barranquilla, she also collaborated with the local artists Tatiana Angulo Fernández and Chelito de Castro, where they performed on Te Olvidé together.
The setlist from the first performance also included tracks like Empire, Girl Like Me, Las de la Intuición, TGQ, and La Tortura, among others. Starting in Brazil, the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran will travel to the Dominican Republic, Chile, and Colombia before coming to the U.S. on May 13.
For the Banamex cardholders, the presale tickets will be available on March 28, while general ticket sales begin on March 29.
