Kendrick Lamar's popularity has steadily grown over the years, with an increased representation of the black community in the rap scene. The singer's popularity led him to massive 2025 Grammy success, taking home five awards. Lamar became the first artist in a non-classic or jazz category to win a Pulitzer Prize in Music in 2018 for his studio album, DAMN. Here is our selection of seven songs that have been most popular all the time:

1. All The Stars Ft. Sza

In one of his performances, Lamar mentioned that Savior is his favorite song on his album, Mr Morale & The Big Steppers. The song features vocals from his cousin, Baby Keem, and Sam Dew. In a lyric, Lamar indicates that he is "no savior". The album came in 2022 after Lamar took time off for parenthood. It was also featured in his concert film, Kendrick Lamar Live: The Big Steppers Tour.

3. Humble

Humble's lyrics are catchy and appear to be a product of the self-reflection by the rapper. In an interview with Rolling Stones, Lamar described his process,

"These are all my emotions and all my self-expressions of who I am. That’s why I did a song like that, where I just don’t give a f*ck, or I’m telling the listener, ‘You can’t f**k with me.’ But ultimately, I’m looking in the mirror.”

While the lyrics may not exactly represent humility, the rapper tells his fans and himself to gear up for success. Owing to its popularity, the track crossed the 1 billion mark on YouTube.

4. Not Like Us

Even if one is not familiar with Kendrick Lamar's work, his performance at the Super Bowl was unmissable. He became one of the first rappers to perform a diss track, Not Like Us, during the Super Bowl halftime. The track, which had previously been popular, immediately took off on social media trends.

5. Bad Blood

Bad Blood reveals Lamar's versatility and complements Taylor Swift's bold pop vocals. The rapper had also re-recorded the remix version for Taylor's deluxe version of 1989. Taylor had also thanked the star and noted that Lamar had "elevated the song."

6. Alright

According to Rolling Stone, Alright resounded with many for the Black Lives Matter Moment. The track helped Kendrick Lamar bag two Grammys, but for the rapper, the track represented more than the accolades; it became synonymous with the black's struggle for liberty and life in America.

7. Poetic Justice Ft. Drake

Lamar's Poetic Justice depicts a tragic love anthem with Drake's vocals. The track samples Janet Jackson's Any Time, Any Place. While Lamar wished Janet would feature in his video, the latter didn't due to unknown reasons. Interestingly, many years later, the duo are caught in a rap beef with an unclear ending.

While it is unclear if Kendrick Lamar will release more music this year, he is featured on multiple tracks on Playboi Carti's new album, I AM MUSIC. Fans will have to wait for official announcements if he has new music lined up for the year.
