Sabrina Carpenter's album Short n' Sweet has blown the music charts by debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart following the release of its deluxe edition.
The deluxe version was released by the Espresso singer on Valentine’s Day i.e., February 14, 2025. According to the report in Billboard, Short n' Sweet sold 71,000 copies in the week ending on February 20, 2025. It combined all versions of the album, including the old and new. This has increased the sales by 616%.
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar’s GNX reached the No. 2 spot with 30,000 copies sold, while Drake’s $ome $*xy $ongs 4 U was at No.3 with 25,000 on the Top Album Sales chart.
The original version of the album was released on August 23, 2024, which is reportedly her sixth studio album. The singer announced the news on her Instagram on June 3, 2024, and wrote,
“Short n’ Sweet” MY NEW ALBUM IS COMING OUT AUGUST 23rd!!!! this project is quite special to me and i hope it’ll be something special to you too.”
During its launch in 2024, it sold around 184,000 copies and reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, as per the Billboard. The album also gained the No. 1 spot on the Vinyl Album chart, as per the report.

Sabrina Carpenter collabs with Dolly Parton for Short n' Sweet deluxe
Sabrina Carpenter surprised her fans when she released a track with Dolly Parton from her latest album Short n' Sweet Deluxe. The duo sang a country version of Carpenter’s hit song, Please, Please, Please. The music video was filmed in a classic vintage style as they hopped on a pickup truck to sing their hearts out.
Announcing the news on her Instagram handle, the 25-year-old wrote,
“Dolly and me singing in a pickup truck!!!!!! I am so honored to have one of my biggest idols on a song that means so much to me. Short n’ Sweet deluxe is out now! Go watch and listen!!!!” “Love you forever @dollyparto.” She added.
While Parton also shared the news on her official handle and wrote,
“Turns out, two things can be short and sweet 😉 Listen to “Please Please Please (feat. Dolly Parton)” everywhere now!”
The deluxe version of Short n’ Sweet features a total of 17 tracks, including 12 from the original album and five bonus tracks - 15 Minutes, Please Please Please (feat. Dolly Parton), Couldn't Make It Any Harder, Busy Woman, and Bad Reviews.
Sabrina Carpenter kicks off her Short n’ Sweet European tour on March 3, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland, which will end on April 4, 2025, in Stockholm, Sweden, as per her official website.
