Roots Picnic Music Festival reveals the 2025 lineup: Who's performing at this year's festival?

Roots Picnic announced its 2025 music artist lineup on Instagram on February 17. Hosted by the American hip-hop band The Roots, the annual music festival will take place on May 31 - June 1, 2025, at The Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. The event is sponsored by Chase, The Mann, and Live Nation Urban.

The festival lineup features more than 30 artists spanning multiple genres. Presale tickets will go live on February 18 at 10 AM ET on the official Roots Picnic's website. Explore the full lineup below.

The final lineup was revealed on Instagram on February 17. Headliners include four-time Grammy winners D'Angelo and Lenny Kravitz, along with Meek Mill, a two-time Grammy nominee.

To mark the 30th anniversary of their album Do You Want More?!!!???, The Roots will perform the album in its entirety. Additionally, Musiq Soulchild will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his album Aijuswanaseing with a special performance.

The music festival will also include these songs, according to the announcement:

When will Roots Picnic tickets go live?

Roots Picnic will offer presale tickets exclusively for Chase cardholders starting February 18. These cardholders can buy GA, GA+, and VIP tickets starting at 10 AM ET.

As one of the sponsors, Chase is also offering some discounts on these tickets. However, the music festival tickets are limited, and each person can only buy a maximum of 8 tickets.

The general public will be able to buy tickets starting on February 21 at 10 am ET, three days after the presale begins. These tickets will give entry to both days of the event, May 31 and June 1.

However, there are no refunds for ticket cancellations. Fans are also allowed to bring their blanket for seating and comfort during the event.

Roots Picnic fans can also attend the "A Roots Picnic Experience: Class of ’95," which is scheduled for June 8, 2025, at 7 pm. Tickets for the event are available now on hollywood.com, starting at $29 and going up to $275.
