The lineup of performers has been announced, with the Riot Fest all ready to celebrate its 20th anniversary this year.
According to a report in Rolling Stone, the three-day event will begin on September 19, 2025, and will run through September 21, 2025, at Douglas Park in Chicago. Blink-182 will headline the first night, Weezer will headline its second night (performing their Blue Album in full), and Green Day will close the festival on the third night.
The festival shared the news with fans on April 23, 2025, with an Instagram post, writing:
“The Riot Fest 20th Anniversary Lineup is here. September 19-21, 2025. Douglass Park. Chicago, IL. 3-DAY tickets on sale now at RiotFest.org”
Michael Petryshyn, the festival’s co-founder, said in a statement:
“We didn’t plan on making it for twenty years. We planned on making it through one weekend. But here we are – still loud, still weird, still building something bigger than we ever meant to.”

Rio Fest 2025 has announced its line-up of performers to mark its 20th anniversary celebrations, and fans have expressed their excitement. Many other artists will be joining these performers during the three-day festival. The festival will also see a new lineup of the Sex Pistols (where the band’s former frontman Frank Carter will replace John Lydon on vocals).
How to buy the tickets?
Those who are looking to attend the Rio Fest 2025 live can head to their official ticketing platform, as the tickets are now on sale. The link for the same is shared on their social media posts.
A 3-day pass for General Admission is priced at $299.98. One ticket is only valid for a single person, and the same ticket can be used for all three days. It includes access to “GA areas including food, beverage, and retail vendors, carnival rides, and over 90+ Artists on multiple stages.”

A 3-day VIP pass costs $399.98. It includes all the benefits listed under the General Admission and additional ones, too. Some of it consists of a VIP entrance, unlimited access to the VIP lounge, access to exclusive food and bar sections, and private lockers with charging facilities.
A 3-day deluxe+ pass is priced at $1,499.98. According to Riot Fest’s official website, this pass includes “all the amenity benefits of VIP & Deluxe.”
