Selena Gomez has sparked excitement among her fans with a teaser of her upcoming song, Call Me When You Break Up, featuring singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams. A glimpse of the track, reportedly part of Gomez’s album I Said I Love You First, was unveiled in a short clip on social media. It set the internet abuzz.

Produced by her fiance Benny Blanco, the song is expected to be a major track of her forthcoming album, which is slated to be released on March 21, 2025. While Gomez and Blanco have not officially confirmed all details, fan speculations and social media buzz surrounding the collaboration with Abrams are notable.

On Tuesday, Selena Gomez shared a video on her official social media platforms, where she lip-syncs to a snippet of the song. The lyrics she shared were,

“Call me when you break up / I want to be the first one on your mind when you wake up."

Adding to the buzz, Blanco had earlier posted a casual video of Gomez and Abrams chatting on a bed, which multiple enthusiasts now believe was a subtle hint about their duet. However, it should be noted that Abrams’ vocals were not present in Gomez’s Call Me When You Break Up teaser.

The new track is seemingly an alt-pop ballad. Fans at a recent event in London were among the first to hear the track in full. Social media soon flooded with reactions, as attendees shared clips of the song and praised the collaboration.

Pop Base also shared the sneak peek video of Call Me When You Break Up on its X (formerly Twitter) handle, captioning,
