Ozzy Osbourne is prepared to go out with a bang for his last show with Black Sabbath. The veteran metal band announced that their very last show will be held on July 5, 2025, at the Villa Park in Birmingham.
Ozzy Osbourne, lead vocalist for the metal band known for thrilling fans with impressive stunts, may fly over the football stadium in a floating throne. This detail was revealed by his close friend and guitarist Zakk Wylde while chatting with Metal XS.
Wylde added:
"With Oz and his throne that just flies over the stadium or whatever, [where he] shoots out buckets of water and does everything like that. So if Oz has a great time and it’s just, like, “I wanna go out on the road again,” it’s just, like, “Good. Let’s do it again.”‘

Other bands like Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, Pantera, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb of God, Gojira, and Mastodon will also perform at Black Sabbath’s final show, termed the Back To The Beginning show. Zakk Wylde, in his interview with Metal XS, revealed that Ozzy’s last performance might mimic that of his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony:
"The game plan is: Let’s hope this is what happens. You’ve always got to stay on the bright side of life because Oz was singing at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame thing. ‘Ozzy was just sitting on the chair, singing Mama, I’m Coming Home, and it sounded great. So hopefully we’ll just do this, and then Oz will go, “Let’s just fire up the machine again, and we’ll do another tour.”’
Ozzy Osbourne, 76, has dealt with spinal and neck injuries and has battled Parkinson’s disease, which has limited his mobility. According to Metro UK, the English singer and songwriter has been hitting the gym in preparation for his performance at the Back To The Beginning show.
In his interview with Sirius XM in 2023, Ozzy spoke about adjusting to his current situation:
"It is so tough because, I mean, I want to be out there. I want to be doing it. The thing is, my head is all right, my creativity is okay, my singing is okay, but I just can’t walk much now."
Black Sabbath will perform with their original lineup, which includes Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, and Bill Ward.
