"Not paying to see a mic off": Internet hits SZA with lip-syncing accusation after she stumbles during her tour performance

The All the Stars singer SZA and Kendrick Lamar began their Grand National Tour on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium. SZA and Kendrick rocked the stage with their incredible setlist and performed on some of their hits, including their 2024 song, Luther.

However, while SZA was performing on Diamond Boy (DTM), a minor mishap occurred between her and the dancer she was performing with. Netizens took to social media to discuss it, and they also pointed out that SZA was lip-syncing and not singing live during the concert.

SZA began her set with 30 for 30, a single from her reissue album Lana. While SZA was in the seventh act and performing on Diamond Boy (DTM), a minor mishap happened when she was performing a choreographed dance step with a dancer in an insect-like costume.
