More details on Lady Gaga's viral TikTok sound, ‘no sleep, bus, club’
Being a trendsetter and influencer is one of the things Lady Gaga is known for. The ‘no sleep, bus, club audio is an iconic part of her pop legacy that has influenced music, culture, and even movies.
The audio followed an interview with Fuse, where she was asked if she made her 2008 debut album, The Fame, "in peace." The Born This Way crooner replied:
“In peace?’ Listen, I was never making anything in peace. The fight that I have been through is not ‘in peace.’ I wrote record after record until, finally, ‘Just Dance’ occurred. And then it wasn’t ‘in peace.’ I had to fight for a year tooth and nail, blood, sweat, and leather.”
She continued:
“Every night. No sleep! Bus, club, another club, another club, plane, next place. No sleep. No fear. Nobody believed in me. That album was not made ‘in peace.’ That album was made with the eye of the tiger, and so was this one.”
Years after the interview, the clip resurfaced, and several fans made TikTok videos referencing Lady Gaga's hectic schedule. The clip was even referenced in the eighth episode of Netflix's Emily in Paris. Charly Jordan also incorporated the audio into his music, which celebrated the reopening of clubs and Pride Month.
Gaga's TikTok comes a week before her Coachella performance. Fans are highly anticipating the event as Gaga says she has a surprise to reveal during her performance.
