Thailand's own, Lalisa Manoban, better known as LISA of BLACKPINK, has a new conceptual album coming out on 28th February. The album, "Alter Ego" has reportedly amassed a 1 billion streams on Spotify before its official release, no easy feat. This was possible only through the singles that are out now, including Moonlight, New Woman ft Rosalia, and chart-breaking collaboration "Born Again" featuring Raye as well as Doja Cat.
The 15-track album is a culmination of interesting concepts, jaw-dropping collaborations like Future, Tyla, and Megan Thee Stallion, and an insight into Lisa's "other side," which is a darker and edgier alter ego. The singer and actress is embracing her solo era, much like her other group members (JENNIE, ROSE, JISOO). Achieving 1 billion streams before an album is officially out is not quite that easy.
