“You’re a co parent” — DDG earns criticism online for saying he is a “single dad”

Rapper DDG once again became a target of internet debate when he called himself a "single dad" to his female friends in a recent clip that went online. The internet was quick to react to the rapper's comments, a user commented, “You’re a co-parent.”

After dating since early 2022, DDG and Bailey welcomed their son in December 2023. The pair remained dedicated to co-parenting even after they formally separated in October 2024. Both attended Halo's first birthday celebration, which included a party with a coco melon theme.

The rapper can be seen calling himself a single father and then continues saying that they don't get empathy from his female friends to which one of his female friends replies,

"Um, no and don't say that. You guys share taking care of the baby. Don't say something. You guys are doing a great job!"
