On April 24, 2025, BTS's j-hope made headlines as he received two TikTok Creator Award Silver and Gold Plaques for achieving new milestones on the social media app. The MONA LISA singer posted a TikTok video dancing to Lady Gaga’s song Abracadabra and flexing his two plaques.
Hobi was honored with a Silver plaque for reaching 1 million followers and Gold plaque for reaching 10 million followers on TikTok. The idol has gained over 11.2 million followers on the app after creating his account three months ago.

BTS' j-hope joined TikTok in January 2024
Earlier this year, on January 24, j-hope created his account on the TikTok app. His initiation into the social media platform was also celebrated by TikTok’s official social handle as the app shared a special post to welcome Hobi to their platform.
Ever since joining the app, Hobi has frequently uploaded videos of himself dancing to different trending songs.
Currently, BTS's j-hope is busy with his ongoing solo tour, HOPE ON THE STAGE, which kicked off on February 28, 2025, in South Korea. The idol is covering major locations across the globe, including Chicago, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Saitama, Manila, and more.
The idol also released his two singles, Sweet Dreams and MONA LISA, earlier in 2025. Both songs saw chart-topping success and were loved by K-pop fans.
