In a recent interview with SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up on April 17, Kesha or Kesha Rose Sebert revealed that she had secretly gotten engaged. However, writing a new song led her to break the engagement.
"Basically, I find that writing songs leads me to my truth. I was engaged and I didn't wanna be anymore and I didn't even realize that I was gonna break up with him until I wrote a song about it, and then I listened back to it, and I was like, 'Oh no, I'm gonna break up with him now,' but it led me to my truth' cause I can't lie in the song."
Although the singer hasn't revealed who she was engaged to, she has previously been linked to health-tech entrepreneur Michael Gilvary, film producer Riccardo Maddalosso, and former longtime boyfriend Brad Ashenfelter. Last year, while speaking to Elle, Sebert revealed that her ex-boyfriend broke up with her after she took someone else to one of Taylor Swift's parties.
"I am looking for a sugar daddy," Kesha comments about her new vision for dating
While talking about her love life with People Magazine last month, Kesha mentioned that she's over relationships after dating "many, many men and many, many women."
Serbert revealed what she's currently looking for, and this is a "sugar daddy",
"I've been in love with many, many men and many, many women, and currently where I'm at is I am looking for a sugar daddy."
She then went on to mention what traits about a "sugar daddy" make her drawn to the dynamic,
"I love being able to just be honest about it, because I'm f***ing into somebody taking care of me, putting me on a pedestal, taking me on their yacht and flying me on their plane. I'm just into it, and I will not feel shame baout that."
The singer mentioned that after dating "a lot of very cool, very broke hipsters with very bad attitudes," she wants to "swing the pendulum 180 degrees" and wants to date someone who "goes to an office building because they own the office building."
Her new vision to dating comes after the pop star announced the release of her upcoming and sixth studio album, Period, through her own label Kesha Records. The album is all set to release on July 4, and the singer has already released singles Yippee-Ki-Yay with T-Pain in March, after releasing Delusional and Joyride last year.
