YG made a shocking confession about childhood sexual abuse in his latest track, '2004.'

In his new confessional track, rapper YG dropped a vulnerable story about his childhood. In this new song, 2004, which features Buddy and The Gang, he raps about how he was a victim of rape at the age of 14. He opens the song with

"When I was young, I got raped by a b*tch twice my age / Picked me up from school to meet at hers and got laid. Ever since that day, I never looked at sh*t the same / F*cked up in the brain, p*ssy what I blame"

He continues -

"My life is insane, like I’m from Baby Gang / How I’m ‘posed to change with all the f*cked up sh*t I’ve seen? / F*cked up, yeah, I know / F*cked up and some mo’ / I’m so used to f*cking up I got f*cked up at the show / F*cked up, yeah, I know / How f*cked up could it go? / Nipsey left me like how Biggie left Hov."
He further details out the traumatic experience,"Cause me and the auntie kept fIckin’ for sure / And oh, one day, I feel like this was too much / I knew this wasn’t regular as I grew up / So told me eat her *ss, after that, I threw up / Ooh, can’t believe I had my face in her butt."

YG, whose real name is Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson, reportedly stated that he had never told this to anyone, including his mother, until the song came out on 28th March and was first showcased on The Breakfast Club.

More about YG's traumatising experience and the MV

He reflected on his past, sharing that he attended school with a woman in her 30s, his niece. When he later recounted the experience to his friends, they found it thrilling. In the third verse, he raps about the impact it had on him:

"A woman took advantage of me, now I have no trust. She was thirty years old, and I never told... As I grew up, I realized this wasn't normal."

The 35-year-old rapper also released a music video to accompany the song. In the MV, he is sitting in an all-white room in front of another woman, the guest star, Tasha Smith. The set-up resembles a therapy session, where, as YG raps, he seems to be confessing this experience to the therapist (Tasha Smith).

The video also depicts the experience in the form of black and white flashback clips to reenact the harrowing event, detailing a few specific moments that he mentions in the song, such as the moment he threw up or when he was telling his friends about the incident.

The song is part of the Toxic rapper's upcoming album that will be released later this year. As for now, through speculation, the album could be named The Gentlemen's Club, as the words turned up in the song's teasers and the captions.
