Ozzy Osbourne, an English singer, songwriter, and media personality popular for his role as the lead singer of the metal band Black Sabbath, has announced that he will not perform a full set at the Black Sabbath reunion concert. He is also known by his stage name, Prince of Darkness. The concert will be held at Birmingham's Villa Park on July 5, 2025.

Ozzy Osbourne, 76, has been experiencing some health issues. One of the diseases that has affected Osbourne is Parkinson's, and he was diagnosed in 2003. Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy's wife, commented when asked if Ozzy Osbourne would be able to perform at Black Sabbath's reunion concert. She said,

"He’s very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this."

She continued,

"Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. It’s not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body and it’s affected his legs... But his voice is as good as it’s ever been."

Ozzy Osbourne also revealed through Billboard that he will not be performing a full set with Black Sabbath. He explained,

"I’m not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath but I am doing little bits and pieces with them... I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable."

Despite the health issues that Ozzy Osbourne is facing, he remains optimistic and is excited to perform. He says,

"I am trying to get back on my feet... When you get up in the morning, you just jump out of bed. I have to balance myself, but I’m not dead. I’m still actively doing things"

The concert has been scheduled for July 5, 2025, and will be held at Birmingham's Villa Park. The concert title is "Back to the Beginning," which is appropriate because Osbourne was born in Birmingham.

In another statement, Ozzy Osbourne expressed his love for his city. He said,

"It’s my time to go back to the beginning … time for me to give back to the place where I was born... How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham for ever."
