Chris Brown is calling on all his fans to refrain from wearing red bandanas during his upcoming concert.
The Under the Influence singer took to Instagram just this week to pen a statement to all attendees of his forthcoming concert in November. The concert, a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the debut of his self-titled album, will see him travel the world with guest appearances from Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller.
In a statement on Instagram, Chris Brown penned:
"I see a lot of the fans collectively telling team breezy to wear red bandannas to the concert would highly advise yall to NOT do that!"
He noted that while he appreciates his fans for their enthusiasm, he doesn't want anyone to get the wrong idea, asserting that he's trying to promote positivity on this tour.
The symbolism behind the red bandana explored as Chris Brown announces a world tour:

"JUST GET BROWN BANDANNAS SO YALL WONT RUN INTO ANY PROBLEMS. I don't want people to get the wrong impression and promote the wrong thing ! YALL KNOW IM BRIS BREEZY but WE PROMOTING POSITIVITY ON THIS TOUR! Thank you And I love yall."
Chris Brown has sported a red bandana many a time, most famously in the music video of his 11:11 song, Residuals. While its exact meaning remains unclear, Sino Silk claims that it "represents passion, love, and vitality. It has the power to evoke people’s emotions, with its intense color symbolizing violent passions, be it romantic love or strong ambition."
The rapper took to Instagram late this March to announce his tour, penning in a statement:
“TEAM BREEZY !!!!!TEAM BREEZY!!!TEAM BREEZY!!!!!BREEZY BOWL 20th anniversary TOUR!!!!!!!!!! CELEBRATING 20 years of CB. So excited to be able to share this moment with the world and my amazing fans." He added, “I CANT WAIT TO SEE ALL YALLS BEAUTIFUL FACES. IMA TAKE YALL THREW THESE ERAS BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY GIVE YALL MY HEART AND SOUL.”

His North American leg will kick off on July 30 in Miami and will see him deliver performances in Detroit, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Toronto, Atlanta, and more.
