Patrick Schwarzenegger has become a household name due to his impressive performances in various roles. However, before he shone as the womanizing Saxon Ratliff in Season 3 of The White Lotus, he starred in a music video for a song by Ariana Grande - a performance he still claims is one of his finest works.
Schwarzenegger portrayed Romeo alongside Grand's Juliet in her music video for the song "Right There." The actor appeared in the video for four minutes and revealed in a recent interview that his performance was one of the most nerve-wracking moments of his career.
"That was one of my first things that I had done. I remember being so nervous."
Patrick Schwarzenegger featured in Ariana Grande's music video for the song "Right There" way back in 2013
Schwarzenegger appeared in Ariana Grande's music video in 2013, long before the pop artist became a global sensation. He recounted his experience collaborating with Grande and her rise to fame, stating,
"Then she became this just massive sensation and she’s so talented. It was just a fun experience. I’d never done a music video, I’ve never done one since. We had a really great time filming that. It’s awesome to see where her career has gone."
Patrick Schwarzenegger revealed that the "Right There" music video is the only one he has done in his entire career so far. However, he maintained that working with Ariana Grande was an experience he truly enjoyed, despite feeling incredibly nervous.
In fact, the popular actor even suggests that the "Right There" music video was the tipping point in Grande's career, after which she became an award-winning global sensation.
After the music video, Patrick Schwarzenegger has established himself as an actor in the movie and web series industry, portraying impactful characters such as Golden Boy in Gen V and Todd Peterson in The Staircase.
Schwarzenegger is currently playing a womanizing finance bro named Saxon Ratliff in The White Lotus Season 3, which is available to stream on Max.
