Charli XCX's second weekend set at Coachella 2025 was full of notable moments. After weeks of hype around her Brat era, the British pop star returned to the main stage at the Empire Polo Grounds with a mix of live surprises, high-energy performances, and more.
She also shared a message after her Coachella set that left fans talking. Charli brought out Addison Rae and shouted out a long list of fellow artists. She used her time at Coachella 2025 to celebrate the end of Brat Summer and nod toward what's next.
After Charli XCX's performance during the first weekend, a screen on the stage read:

Wait… I remembered…I'm Charli XCX… and honestly… I just want this moment to last forever. PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE OVER."
After her performance during the second weekend of the festival, Charli XCX displayed a list of other musicians' names on the screen behind her. Per Indy 100, the list of displayed names is as follows:

What does Charli XCX's Coachella shoutout mean?
As Charli's set drew to a close, the stage screen flashed with a rapid-fire list of names, which featured multiple artists, filmmakers, and musicians. According to reports, fans are seeing this as Charli's version of "passing the baton."
It seemingly hinted at Charli's wide-ranging influences and the kinds of artists she sees as pushing boundaries in 2025. However, whether it was a handoff or more of a tribute remains unclear. Some fans took it as a symbolic close to the Brat era.
The shoutout also came with an outro message onscreen:
"Does this mean that Brat Summer is finally over???? PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE OVER."
Another subplot across both Coachella weekends was a playful "feud" between Charli and punk band Green Day.
After Charli XCX wore a sash reading "Miss Should Be Headliner" during weekend one, Green Day drummer Tré Cool responded during their weekend two set by wearing a handmade sash that said "Actual Headliner."
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong also wore a Brat hat during their Weekend 2 set. Charli later shared the photos and wrote "obsessed" on X (formerly Twitter).
