The couple, who have been married since September 18, 2004, shared the exciting news on social media, receiving an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans and celebrities alike.
Ricky Bell, 57, took to Instagram to share a heartwarming video, captioning it,

Amy, 42, expressed her emotions with the phrase,

The couple, known for their strong bond and enduring relationship, recently commemorated their 20th wedding anniversary in September 2024. They celebrated the special day by sharing a nostalgic throwback photo and a series of really special moments from their time.
Excitement was palpable as the couple prepared to become parents. In one snapshot, Amy proudly displayed her baby bump while standing in the passenger seat of their car alongside Ricky. Another image showed them posing outside a restaurant, enjoying a date night.

Amy previously told ESSENCE how they kept their love strong despite challenges.
“Don’t give up when the sh-t hits the fan, because that’s what most people do,” she said. “It’s like they get hurt and they can’t overcome it. They’re just so hurt, that they’re responding out of their hurt, but you have to look beyond the hurt and actually see why are you with this person…what’s your purpose together?”
She continued,
“You’re never going to meet someone that has it all together. Everyone’s going to have issues. But you just have to decide, are you going to be the person I decide to work stuff out with for the rest of my life or not? And I think we already decided a long time ago no matter what, we’re going to give it our best shot. We definitely leaned on help from God and godly people that are good examples to our lives.”
