Kendrick Lamar is working on his new film with Dave Free, the co-founder of pgLang and the co-creators of the American animated sitcom, South Park. The film will be directed by Trey Parker, and the screenplay will be written by Vernon Chatman.

You may have just heard about Lamar's upcoming film now, but the work on it has started since last year. They started filming Whitney Springs back in October 2024. The film will be produced by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free through their company pgLang.
