Ed Sheeran made his Coachella debut during Weekend 2 of the 2025 festival.
Ed's inclusion in the festival roster was announced just two weeks before the performance. The 'Azizam' singer's surprise set at the Mojave tent on Saturday, April 19, 2025, was notably one of the most talked-about moments of the weekend.
According to reports, on a 3 p.m. afternoon slot, thousands gathered early to get a glimpse of the English singer-songwriter. His relatively minimalistic solo setup stood out in a festival mainly known for high-production performances.
Ed Sheeran performed without a band or backup singers. He utilized his guitar, keyboard, and signature looping station. For longtime fans, his Coachella debut set might have been a classic Sheeran experience.
