New York-based rapper JadaKiss commented on the Kendrick Lamar and Drake rap feud. In the recently released In Da City track by Porsche Trcuk Ruk featuring JadaKiss, the latter seems to reference the rappers’ beef and drop his two cents on their strengths. A part of the song’s lyrics read:

"The game is controlled by the devil/ as far as my sword go I'm still Samurai level/ Drake got the b***hes, Kendrick got the West Coast..."

The rapper did not explain the meaning behind the quoted lyrics, and in turn, Netizens and hip-hop enthusiasts seemed to be confused about the rationale behind their use in the song.

On X, NFR Podcast shared the lyrics from In Da City referencing the rap juggernauts, and @playboytravis_replied to the tweet:

“What does this even mean?”

Other Netizens seemed to share his confusion about the purpose of the lyrics and tweeted the same.

“What he tryna say?” @Watchables22435 asked.
“Which side is Jada on?” @mnorm2001 added.
“Lol, no if Jada is talking sh** about Drake or if he just talking, this sh** funny either way,” AshleyRv expressed.

Other X users were torn between classifying the track as a diss or not.

“This a diss smh,” @Mizzout1 noted.
“How is this even a diss?” @JOHNDALORD asked amusingly.
“This is not a bar,” @PhiThaGreat tweeted.

Others felt that the feud between Drake and Lamar was drawn out and overused.

“March 10, 2025, and we’re still on this,”@kodeiinetearz complained.
“Drake and Kendrick’s beef in 2025?” @Eminem02Stan tweeted.
“Bro. Can we please move on?” @dablackco suggested.

JadaKiss described Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the Super Bowl as a big win for Hip Hop.

Kendrick Lamar performed at the halftime show of the Super Bowl on February 9, 2025. JadaKiss, in an interview with Carmelo Anthony and Kid Mero in the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, described seeing Lamar on the Super Bowl stage as a beautiful moment and a win for him:

"For Hip-Hop to get Super Bowl anything is a win for me. Maybe I feel different because I’m an elder statesman, but I don’t care about the other stuff. Seeing him up there rocking, the message, the aesthetics—that was beautiful. It was good for Hip-Hop.”

The seasoned rapper also commented on how rap beef had evolved from using unfiltered lyrics to the modern style of rap. JadaKiss, speaking on the Drake--Lamar beef added:

"Me coming up battling, I’m saying the most craziest s*** that would never be the same. But now they switched it, which I think is fire. Drake did it a few times. Kendrick did it. I think that’s ill.”
