Bayern Munich players were caught on camera dancing to PlayBoi Carti’s newly released I AM MUSIC album during football practice. On March 14, 2025, American rapper PlayBoi Carti dropped his highly anticipated album.
The album had only been out for a few hours before clips of the German football club’s players dancing to it went viral. The video shows star player Michael Olise arriving at the training ground and dragging a speaker that belted out lyrics from the new album.
He was joined by his colleagues, who nodded their heads and swayed to the beat. Before the video ends, Olise yelled, “National Carter Day!”
@Kurrco shared the clip on X, and the rapper’s fans were excited to witness a fun intersection of music and football. @whosfarid tweeted in response:
“Yeah, they might win the Champions now.”
Similar tweets trailed the post as Playboi Carti’s fans jokingly predicted that the I AM MUSIC album is a good luck charm for winning the Champions League.
“Confirms we are winning the UCL,” @henryss217 stated.

I AM MUSIC follows Carti’s third studio album release since his last release in 2020, Whole Lotta Red. The album features appearances from industry heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Skepta, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla Sign, and Young Thug.
Playboi Carti teased the release of the musical project on numerous occasions. During his performance at Rolling Loud Miami in December 2024, he previewed a few songs from the album.
On March 9, 2025, the rapper announced that the album was done and ready to drop:
"MY ALBUM DONE,”
Before adding:
"ME N WHEEZY TALKING ABOUT SOME OL OTHER SHITTT.”
Some of the tracks on the album include Pop Out, K Pop, Good Credit, and Cocaine Nose. Good Credit features Kendrick Lamar and talks about power and fame while throwing subtle jabs at haters and foes. In the song, Lamar seemingly calls out A$AP Relli, who pressed charges against former group mate A$AP ROCKY for alleged assault.
